I am a jerk!!

Anyway.... I just started my 2nd job this week. I am a banker. I don't hate it surprisingly. But fuck the bank for making me wake up at fucking the ass crack of dawn!!! I'm such a night horse that I'm used to going to sleep at the sight of the sun than waking up to it. Its been fucking brutal. That's the reason I haven't been blogging as much. BUT!!! I have a mini break and I have been tagged by the sexiest of blogs and I will post them all here. I just have to fill out the questions and there will be a All about Sara Day. Everything you couldn't care less to know about yours truly!!! LOL, get excited.

When Sara asked me to write about interior decorating, I knew she had asked the wrong person. But by then it was too late! [evil laugh]

I have little patience for design. My Hong Kong apartment - though spacious and ridiculously expensive - looks like a guys' college dorm. It's mostly bare, furnished with the classiest (almost matching) pieces I could find in Ikea.

Why? I'm lazy. When I shop, I buy things that either:

1. Can be sat on

2. Will never need cleaning/dusting

3. Are so awesome that I'm willing to pay someone else to clean/dust

There is not a single extraneous item in my apartment - no frames, no candles, no vases, no plates, no kitchen table - because, to me, they're just a hassle.

However, I do have one weakness: chandeliers. Sometimes I daydream about sitting in my bare Ikea apartment, staring at a giant, gaudy, crystal thing hanging from the ceiling.

As for the real world, I have a couple on my wish list. Here are a few of my faves:

1. Eat, Drink, and be Merry chandelier, $4800 at Anthropologie

2. Birdcage chandelier, $135 at My Finch

3. Bubble chandelier, $300 at Jean Pelle's shop

4. Milk glass chandelier, $875 at Neiman Marcus

I'll make sure to let you all know if/when I buy one - it will certainly be the focus of many a photo session.
